Are the towers a nuclear plant?
Yes, run for your lives! LOL, no not a nuclear plant. What you see is actually steam coming from the towers of Plant Bowen. This Georgia Power plant began commercially operating in 1975 and is located 9 miles southwest of Cartersville. The four units of the coal-fired power plant are capable of producing 3,376 megawatts of electricity, and can supply enough energy to power over 1.9 million homes annually.
